Have you ever thought that God could allow you to be held in a sustained season of discomfort so that you will be quicker to jump at the next opportunity for breakthrough He's lined up for you?

Like, if you are comfortable where you are, you may not move when He says move. You may not go through when the door opens. You may not answer when opportunity knocks...

Discomfort is a catalyst for change, for taking a leap you wouldn't normally take, for breaking into something you wouldn't have chanced if your back wasn't against a wall.

Being uncomfortable just enough and for just enough time, your desire to shift your position to relieve the discomfort will become greater than your fear of change.

I've just thought of thanking God for this season of discomfort I've been in, for staying close to me, for giving me just enough light to see my next step, for allowing the tension to build so that I won't hesitate to leap into what's next.

Discomfort helps me say, "God, I'm ready to do what I need to do to get out of this place and never return."

A couple weeks ago, a friend told me I needed to hear a message by T. D. Jakes. She said, "If you get a chance to listen to even part of his message, IT WILL BUILD YOUR FAITH." It was a message called "Inflection Point." An inflection point is place beyond the realm of seasons of ups and downs. It is the place of a breakthrough so strong that all you do is stay up and never come back to the low points you've seen before. I listened and my faith was built.

In 2022, I'm coming for my inflection point.

I'm reaching. I'm stretching, stretching for it. I'm taking the jump. I'm leaping into it.

Nothing can stop me; I'm all the way up!

What are you reaching, stretching, leaping toward in 2022?
